Legal Aid Assessment and Recommendations for Afghanistan  by DAYLIGHT founder Dominique Day (2017) (co-authored).  First-ever, comprehensive independent assessment of legal aid in Afghanistan sponsored by the Ministry of Justice, the Asia Foundation and the World Bank. Analysis includes detailed survey of over 400 justice professionals, analysis, and recommendations of criminal legal aid in Afghanistan, with specific focus on gender, corruption, and effective strategies for legal aid as resources shrink.  Using a series of design research and strategic planning tools, DAYLIGHT founder Dominique Day conducted original research and set forth clear and workable recommendations to enhance the impact of legal aid in Afghanistan.
